Serving Size: 3-4
Ingredients:
This Buffalo Chicken is more of a dip style. But it will taste great on the sliders.
Buffalo Chicken
- 1 packet of Kings Hawaiian Sliders
- 1 whole rotisserie chicken shredded
- 1 cup of hot sauce
- 1 tbs honey
- 1/2 sesame oil
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 3/4 cup of ranch dressing
- 1/4 c of cream cheese
- 1 ranch seasoning packet
- 1.5 cups of mozzarella
- 1.5 cups of cheddar
- 1/2 cup of mozzarella and cheddar each for topping
- 2 tsp of salt
- 5 slices of bacon diced
- cilantro
Directions:
- Get a saucepan to medium head and melt down butter. Add in the hot sauce, honey, sesame oil and simmer for 2 minutes.
- When everything is combined add in the Ranch dressing and ranch packed and simmer again for another 2 minutes and mix.
- Turn the flame to the lowest possible flame and add in cream cheese 1/3 at a time. And keep mixing it into the sauce to make sure the sauce doesn't curdle.
- Add in the Mozzarella and Cheddar into the sauce the same way. With a low flame and mixing in continuously while slowly adding in the cheese a small portion at a time.
- Once everything is combined, check for seasoning and add in salt as needed. I added about 1-2 tsp of salt at this step.
- At this point if the sauce is too thick, add in some hot sauce or ranch. You can even add in water to loosen up the sauce but don't add too much. You sauce should be just right at this point.
- Throw sauce over the shredded chicken and mix. Place Sauce and Chicken mixture into an oven safe dish.
- Top with an extra 1/2 cup of mozzarella and cheddar each and bake at 500 degrees for about 10-15 minutes or until cheese is golden brown.
- Take out of the oven and place buffalo chicken onto the sliders.
- Top with bacon bits and cilantro.
- Optional: Butter buns with butter and cilantro
- Enjoy!
