Grilled Cheese Recipe

 

Tomato Soup:
1. Peeled Tomatoes from San Marzano Can
2. 1 Bell Pepper
3. 1 White onion
4. 1 whole garlic
5. Olive Oil
6. Salt + pepper
7. 1 tbsp sugar
8. 1 tbsp garlic
9. 1/4- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
10. 1-2 tbsp butter
11. 1 tsp Parsley flakes
12. 1 tsp chili
13. Squeeze of lemon

Bacon Jam:
1. 5 slices of bacon cut to small pieces
2. 1 white onion
3. 2 shallots
4. 2 garlic minced
5. 1/2 cup of brown sugar
6. 1/3 cup of maple syrup
7. 1/3 cup of apple cider vinegar

Grilled Cheese
1. Gruyere
2. Cheddar
3. Pepper Jack
4. 3 pieces of bacon

Mayo Sauce
1. 4 tbsp of mayo
2. 1 tsp of fresh dill, 2 tsp rosemary, 1tsp thyme each. 
3. 1/2 tbsp garlic powder



————DIRECTIONS—————

Directions | Tomato Soup:
1. Add Tomatoes, bell pepper, onion, garlic wrapped in tin foil into a tray. Season with olive oil and salt+pepper
2. Put it into a 400 F oven for about 40 minutes or until vegetables have a char to it.
3. Take out the vegetables from the oven and blend by adding in Heavy Cream.
4. Put it onto the stove and add in sugar, butter, parsley flakes, chili, and lemon. You can add more heavy cream here if you need.

Directions | Bacon Jam:
1. Cook bacon down and remove and leave bacon fat.
2. Cook onions and shallots for about 15 minutes
3. Add in garlic, brown sugar, maple syrup and apple cider vinegar and simmer for about 15 minutes or until thickened. 
4. Add in bacon and mix and set aside. 


Directions | Grilled Cheese:
1. Lather Mayo sauce on both sides and place on a low flame, hot pan
2. Place bacon jam on both inside sides and top with cheese and bacon.
3. Close and continue to flip till token brown
