Steak and Lobster Recipe

A delicious steak and lobster is to die for. This is a great dinner for a special occasion for that special person in your life or just a night where you want to treat yourself. Have fun and enjoy

NOTE!!!: I didn't put all the measurements for everything because I was testing the recipe. I should have it all done soon. Most of the spices are no more than a tablespoon. 

 

Lobster Ingredients

  1. 1 lobster + 1 lobster tail (Optionally 2 lobster tails) 
  2. 2 garlic minced 
  3. Salt 
  4. Pepper 
  5. cayenne Powder 
  6. Old Bay

Bisque Ingredients 

  1. 2 white onions 
  2. 2 carrots 
  3. 2 celery 
  4. Rosemary
  5. Thyme
  6. Marjoram
  7. Bay leaf 
  8. 5 garlic cloves
  9. Lobster Shells
  10. 2 tbs tomato paste
  11. 1 + ½  cup of white dry wine 
  12. 1 quart of stock (seafood/lobster - you can use chicken or beef if you don’t have lobster stock)  
  13. ½ head Cilantro 
  14. 1 tbs bouillon powder 
  15. Salt 
  16. Pepper
  17. cayenne Powder
  18. Old Bay
  19. heavy cream

Steak Ingredients 

  1. Ny Strip 
  2. Salt 
  3. Black Pepper 
  4. Butter 
  5. Rosemary
  6. Thyme 
  7. Garlic 

Steak Sauce Ingredients

  1. Garlic 
  2. Shallots 
  3. Mushrooms 
  4. Broth
  5. Worcestershire 
  6. Clam Juice 
  7. Heavy Cream 
  8. Black Pepper 
  9. Salt 
  10. Parmesan 

 

Directions - Lobster 

  1. Cut your lobster meat into cubes 
  2. Add butter to a medium heated pan and add in garlic. Suatee for 1 minute till fragrant. 
  3. Add in lobster and sautee. 
  4. Add salt, pepper, old bay, and chili powder(optional)
  5. Set aside in the fridge when done. 

 

Direction: Lobster Bisque 

  1. In the same pan as the cooked lobster, add in a small amount of butter
  2. Roughly chop your onions, celery, carrots and add it into the same pan.
  3. Add salt and pepper.
  4. Add in herb, bay leaf and garlic
  5. Add in lobster shells and Sautee 
  6. Add in tomato paste and cook out. About 4-5 minutes 
  7. Add in white wine and cook out till all the alcohol has evaporated. This should take about 5-6 minutes. 
  8. Add in seasoning - Boulin powder, old bay, cayenne powder 
  9. Add in stock and cilantro and simmer for 50 minutes. 
  10. After bisque has simmered, check for seasoning. 
  11. Add everything into a blender and blend at high speed until everything is blended well. 
  12. Put the mixture through a fine mesh until all the shells are out. 
  13. You can eat it now or add a touch of heavy cream to give the mixture a more of a orange look and a bit of butter. In order to do this, get it back on a pan on the stove on a light flame, and add in a touch of heavy cream and 1 tbs of butter and mix. Check for seasoning.
  14. Plate and enjoy!
